During this phase, the program will be able to accept children at various ages and diagnoses. At this stage, women and children should be past detox. In the mean time, staff development will continue as each child transitions from phase to phase.

During this phase, the staff will focus on establishing trust through routines, schedules, and chores. School will begin for three hours daily and will be based on addressing individual needs. Personalized and group interventions will also begin.

Licensed therapists will dig deep into the trauma with each child. This phase may be the hardest emotionally for each child, but school and routines will continue to establish a form of consistency.  

In this phase, we will focus on applying personal narratives to daily life, and will include applying emotional management techniques in more challenging situations. Child will have the opportunity to practice, assess their responses, and re-learn how to handle difficult experiences including flashbacks, being triggered, and meeting new faces. 

In this phase, school will increase to five hours per day. Older students can receive help on GED training or job skills training. In addition, outside resources for therapy will be contacted to begin transition. And LTJ will connect with their own families, adopting, or foster families. 

During this last phase, each child will leave the home to their new future. Staff will evaluate on a case-by-case basis to ensure no relapses in their treatment and continued growth.
